Houston's Largest Margarita

     On Sunday, May 4th, 2008 at 3:00pm, the Hard Rock Cafe will be holding its 2nd annual Cinco de Mayo Hard Rock Bash entitled Mas Tequila: Building Houston.  They are constructing Houston's Largest Margarita measuring at a whopping 500 gallons.  The event ends at 9pm and benefits Child Advocates, an organization that is a leader in the ongoing fight against child abuse.  Entry is free and margaritas will be sold for five dollars to benefit this charity.

     The record for the world's largest margarita is 7,039 gallons by Mott's Margarita Mix and Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville.
