Margarita Texas Makes Award Winning Margarita

We entered the 12th Annual Margarita and Salsa Festival this Saturday and won 2nd place for individual margarita. There was a lot of great competition but our Cherry Bomb Margarita was able to impress the judges enough to take a place.

We used Cavalino Blanco tequila, other tasty ingredients and topped off the margarita with a lime wedge and a “special” cherry. It was a huge success with everyone.

Unfortunately, we were so busy meeting with people at our booth and serving our creation that we could not try out any of the other entries but I am sure they were great.

This was our first event and definitely not the last. We would like to thank everyone involved with making our first experience a success.

Do we have the best margarita in Texas?

Who has the best margarita in Texas? Maybe us. We have officially entered the margarita category at the 12th Annual Margarita and Salsa Festival in Waco, Texas on August 25, 2007.

The previous plan was to visit the event as an observer; now we will be participating in the festivities. Armed with our own flavorful creation, we look to stand out in taste and presentation over the rest of the field. Cavalino Tequila will be sponsoring us at the event. We will use their delicious Blanco tequila as well as other tasty ingredients.

If you plan on attending the event, make sure you stop by, say hello and try a great margarita.
