On Sunday, May 4th, 2008 at 3:00pm, the Hard Rock Cafe will be holding its 2nd annual Cinco de Mayo Hard Rock Bash entitled Mas Tequila: Building Houston. They are constructing Houston’s Largest Margarita measuring at a whopping 500 gallons. The event ends at 9pm and benefits Child Advocates, an organization that is a leader in the ongoing fight against child abuse. The record for the world’s largest margarita is 7,039 gallons by Mott’s Margarita Mix and Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville.

On June 28th, 2008, Margarita Texas will give away prizes during drawings and to individual hole winners at the Preferred Golfers Tournament held at Cypresswood Golf Course in Houston, Texas. Our prizes include, Margarita Texas Member Card’s and margarita themed gift baskets. We are also working to have a tequila tasting onsite.
Anyone that buys a Margarita Texas Member Card, will get 10% off the entry fee into the tournament. What you save on the entry fee practically covers the cost of the card and you get up to 15% off participating restaurants for an entire year.
