StartupNation, a well known website geared towards entrepreneurs is hosting their 2008 Home-Based 100 competition and Margarita Texas has entered in the “Yummiest” category.

Our website, MargaritaTexas.com consists of ratings and reviews of restaurant margaritas around Texas from the many places we have visited. Visitors are encouraged to vote on their favorites and share their margarita experience at each location. We are also known as one of the top resources on the internet for finding a variety of margarita recipes.
Through a restaurant discount card we created, our visitors can receive up to 15% off their entire meal at restaurants in Texas known for serving some of the best food and margaritas. One of the main reasons behind the card was to create a way to raise money to help ill and premature newborn infants in our community. For every card we sell, a portion goes directly to non-profit hospitals to help support the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) and families with babies in their care.”
