Texas is known for great margaritas and for the past 3 years we asked visitors to our website to pick which restaurant they believe has the tastiest recipes in the Lone Star State. This year was one one of the closest votes in the history of the contest and Don Julio’s Mexican Restaurant (locations in Cypress, Seabrook and Dickinson) took the title.
In March, we were able to make it out to the Don Julio’s Cypress location during the first few days their doors were open. We were impressed by the organization and staffs knowledge of their margarita menu. Our sampling included two delicious margaritas including the 24K margarita made with Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia anjeo tequila . You can read our original review here.
We would like to congratulate Don Julio’s for winning and thank everyone for taking the time to vote. Check back next year when we post voting for Best Margarita in Texas 2011!
